Our Story

In 2019, we started supporting Vishwa Kala Niketan Model English School (a Government-aided school in Bangalore) by providing in-house trained teachers for subjects of STEM. However, when the COVID pandemic broke out, the school management requested us to equip the teachers with the necessary tools for online classes.

Education in the Digital Divide Era: Struggles and Solutions

The senior teachers were finding it difficult to acquaint themselves with the virtual medium. While some managed to take online classes, others found it challenging. Engagement from the students’ side became poor as those from weaker economic backgrounds had just one phone in the family. Few also lacked access to student materials.

Bringing Learning to Life: SSLC Connect

We believed an APP would be able to address the above concerns. Thus, SSLC Connect was created to serve the needs of all students of the State Syllabus in the English medium. Six main subjects – Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, English, Hindi and Kannada languages are covered.

With the vision of a world with equal opportunities and the right to education for all, our mission is to provide education and learning to children- especially in low resource environments. The immense appreciation and recognition we have garnered through our beneficiaries has catalysed our decision to embark on this new project of a Trust – the RS Foundation.

The immense appreciation and recognition we have garnered through our beneficiaries has catalysed us our decision to embark on this new project of an NGO (Trust) – The RS Foundation.

We seek to create a world where equal opportunities and the right to education are not just ideals but lived realities. To achieve this we have started our Initiatives at the public and aided schools in the vicinity of RSA’s center. We intend to take it further with face-to-face teachings in various regions of Bangalore. With the help of Youtube and a Mobile app our reach has spread to all over Karnataka and with the help of like-minded people, nationwide in the future.

Our vision at RS Foundation is to be the catalyst for transformation in the lives of individuals and communities. We aspire to empower lives by providing access to quality education, opportunities, and resources. We envision a future where the pursuit of knowledge is a force for positive change, where education is a powerful equaliser, and where dreams know not of any boundaries. Therefore, our vision is not just a dream; it’s our guiding star, inspiring us to work tirelessly towards a world where each life we touch becomes a beacon of hope and a source of inspiration for further generations.
