As part of the content team, you will be tasked with creating exceptional written content for us as a brand, MadeByShape, and our wide range of clients. You will have a natural flair for writing which you will use to create unique and engaging content for a variety of different industries, audiences and topics.
You will be provided with an SEO strategy, including blog titles, keywords to include, and internal linking plan. Your understanding of SEO is a bonus for this role. If you know nothing about SEO, it doesn’t matter – we will provide SEO training and also how to use a content management system like Craft CMS.
Accomplished writing abilities is the main asset we are looking for, but we also need an individual who can communicate with different members of team and also directly with clients.
What you’ll be doing:
This position will directly support the SEO strategy for MadeByShape, and the SEO service we provide for clients.
Main duties & responsibilities include:
- Write SEO optimised content for website pages, blog posts & content marketing campaigns
- Understand the importance of SEO (training provided)
- Carry out keyword research using a range of tools (training provided)
- Work closely with SEO Strategy Team to support content strategy creation
- Manage your own workload and maintain individual and team KPIs
- Having fun (if you don’t enjoy writing, and don’t like working within a team – this role is not for you)

What we need to see:
- Excellent writing and grammar skills
- Researching industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies)
- A willingness to learn how content strategy helps SEO
- Must be UK based (but don’t have to be in Manchester)
